Iceland: The Laugavegur Trail (Landmannalaugar to Skogar): 3.5 days, ~85km
If you are ever going to do an overseas thru-hike, do this one! It has everything: multi-colored mountains, rhyolite rock formations, snow covered peaks, geothermal hot springs, geysers, glaciers, volcanoes, glaciers on top of volcanoes, I met Dan Cortese!, sweeping river valleys with moss covered spires, black sand deserts, rivers to ford, and waterfalls… so many waterfalls I stopped taking pictures of them.

Sweden and Norway: Day Hikes
A late spring made the Kungsleden trail impassible, so rented a car and went rogue. One of the great things about these Nordic countries is you can literally hike and make camp anywhere you want, so long as you are a few hundred feet from a home. With all the trails, some marked, many unmarked, no need for private property, you can hike until you drop. Epic week.
Donuts of the World: Sweden Edition
They called it a donut, so I am going with it.
